Bible Basis: Luke 10:38 – 42; John 11:1 – 44; 12:3 – 8
Bible Verse: John 11:25: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even if he dies.’ ”
Bible Point: Jesus brought Lazarus back to life. If I believe in Jesus, he will give me eternal life in heaven!

Do you think you are a good listener, like Mary?
Why didn’t Jesus tell Mary to go and help her sister? (It was more important for her to listen to him at that moment.)
How was Lazarus like Jesus? (He rose from the dead, like Jesus.)
How was Lazarus different from Jesus? (Lazarus needed Jesus’ help to rise from the dead, but Jesus rose from the dead on his own, because he is the Son of God.)
Why did Mary pour perfume on Jesus’ feet? (She wanted to show her love.)

Today’s Key Thought: What distracts you from focusing on Jesus?
Bed Time: Have you ever started something big and then lost your nerve in the middle? It’s often easier to talk yourself into tackling something hard than to complete it. But you don’t have to do it on your own! Jesus is always with you and you can live with confidence that He’s got this. Pray for each other, that you will keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and ask for His help all along the way.
Remember this: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6, NIV
