LESSON 27 | Jesus Lives!

Bible Basis: : Matthew 26; 28; John 20 – 21

Bible Verse: Luke 24:6 “Jesus is not here! He has risen! Remember how he told you he would rise. It was while he was still with you in Galilee.” 

Bible Point: Jesus died on the cross, but he came back to life. Because Jesus died for me, I am saved and can live for him!

After Jesus died, where was his body placed? 
(In a tomb.)

Did Jesus stay in the tomb? (No, he came out and is alive today.)

Did Jesus visit his friends after he came back to life? (Yes.)

When Jesus’ friends saw him, what did they think he was? (A ghost.)

Life Application: CONFIDENCE – Living like you believe what God says is true

Today’s Key Thought: Live like you believe what God says is true.

Meal Time: Make up a family handshake or special high- five that you can use to encourage each other this month.

Remember this: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6, NIV
