Happy Fathers Day!

Dear Dad,

You are awesome! Here and here is something for you, and your preschooler has something special for you too!

Take a look below to see what our Kids Ministry learned this Sunday!

LESSON 21 | I Can Go to Jesus

Bible Basis: Matthew 8:23 – 27; 9:1 – 8, 18 – 26; Mark 2:1 – 12; 5:21 – 43; Luke 5:17 – 26; 8:40 – 56

Bible Verse: Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all of you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.”

Bible Point: Many people came to Jesus for help. I can go to Jesus too!

Resource: The Beginner Bible

“A Hole in the Roof ” (pages 328 – 333)

“Jesus Calms the Storm” (pages 334 – 339)

“Two Miracles” (pages 340 – 350)

TABLE TALK: Use the Table Talk questions below to start a discussion around the Table at dinner.

Who helped the man who couldn’t walk get to Jesus? (His friends.)

Where did the disciples go for help when their boat was going to sink? (They woke up Jesus, and he calmed the storm.)

Why did the woman touch Jesus’ robe? (She was sick and had faith that Jesus could heal her.)

Who came to Jesus and asked him to heal his daughter? (Jairus.)

Week 3: Amped: Live Fully Alive – Confidence

Main Verse: Judges 13-16

Life Application: CONFIDENCE – Living like you believe what God says is true

Today’s Key Question: What happens when you trust yourself more than God?

Drive Time: While in the car, ask the question, “How do you think God has created you to do big things?” If your preteen has a hard time answering this question, use this time to speak into them about the talents and gifts you see God gave them.

Remember this: “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13, NIV
