Easter Sunday we are celebrating the resurrection by having a time of water baptism in our Lima 10:00 am and Henrietta 10:30 am service!
Take a look below to see what our Kids Ministry learned this Sunday!
LESSON 8 | I Can Trust God
Bible Basis: Numbers 13; Joshua 2; 6
Bible Verse: Joshua 1:9: “Here is what I am commanding you to do. Be strong and brave. Do not be terrified. Do not lose hope. I am the Lord your God. I will be with you everywhere you go.”
Bible Point: Joshua trusted God to do what he said he would do. I can also trust God to keep his promises.
Resource: The Beginner Bible
“Twelve Spies” (pages 124–127)
“Joshua and the Spies” (pages 128 – 131)
“Battle of Jericho” (pages 132 – 135)
TABLE TALK: Use the Table Talk questions below to start a discussion around the Table at dinner.
The Israelites must have been just a little bit scared walking around the wall of Jericho so many times. After all, the enemy was there! Have you ever had to do something scary?
If you could ask God for help, what would you say?
(This is a great time to remind your child that God is always with us and that we can ask for help anytime and anywhere!)
Why do you think the spies were so scared to trust God and enter the Promised Land?
Why can we trust God? (Because he always does what he promises he will do!)

Week 1: Jump Ball – Peace
Main Verse: Genesis 13:5-18
Life Application: PEACE – Proving you care more about each other than winning an argument
Today’s Topic: Prove you care more about others by letting go of “what’s fair.”
Bedtime: Read Genesis 13:5-18. Think about a situation that happened recently where you didn’t think something was fair. Did you push to get what was “fair”? What would happen to your relationships if you did? Pray for each other and ask God to give you the grace and wisdom to know when to let go of what’s fair in order to make peace.
Remember this: “So let us do all we can do to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another.” Romans 14:19, NIrV
