Bible Verse: Luke 24:6 “Jesus is not here! He has risen! Remember how he told you he would rise. It was while he was still with you in Galilee.”

From Pastor Donnes Desk!

Hello Family,

With kids off to school snacks are very important in a household.

And the best brain food is the healthy stuff!

Try one of these and model for your child healthy snacking.

Week 4: ReFocus- Gratitude

Main Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Give Thanks No Matter What

Life Application: GRATITUDE – Letting others know you see how they’ve helped you

Todays Topic: Always be grateful.

Ask: What’s keeping you from being thankful?

Bed Time: Read Luke 17:11-19.

List as many people as you can think of who have done something for you in the past few weeks. Now, make a plan to say “thank you” the next time you see those people. You might even write a thank you card!

Pray for each other, that God will help you notice and say “thank you” in the moment anytime someone does something for you.

Remember this: “Give thanks no matter what happens. God wants you to thank him because you believe in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18, NIrV
