The Great Pumpkin Party is this week!

Take a look below to see what our Kids Ministry learned this Sunday!

LESSON 22 | We Can Always Trust Jesus

Bible Basis: Matthew 14; John 9

Bible Verse: Matthew 14:31: “Right away Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘Your faith is so small!’ he said. ‘Why did you doubt me?’ ”

Bible Point: Many people in the Bible trusted Jesus. I can trust Jesus with my problems too.

Resource: The Beginner’s Bible

“Jesus Feeds Thousands”(pages357–363)

“Jesus Walks on Water” (pages 364 – 370)

“Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar” (pages 371 – 374)

“Ten Lepers”(pages 405–408)

TABLE TALK: Use the Table Talk questions below to start a discussion around the Table at dinner.

What does it mean to trust someone? (Answers will vary. Here’s the definition the children learned this week: believing someone will do what he or she has promised.)

Did the blind man trust Jesus to heal him?

What amazing thing did Jesus do during the storm? (He walked on the water.)

The ten lepers trusted Jesus to heal them, but nine of the lepers forgot to do something important. What did they forget? (They forgot to thank Jesus for healing them.)

Week 4: Use it or Lose it!

Main Verse: 2 CORINTHIANS 9:6–7

Life Application: Stewardship – Taking care of what you have because it all belongs to God

Todays Topic: Use your money wisely.

Ask: How can you best use your money?

Read Matthew 25:14-30. God has given us all “stuff.” Talk about all that you, as a family, have. Bottom line, what matters to God is how you choose to use those things. Brainstorm some ways that you could use the things you talked about wisely. Pray that you will remember throughout each day to use the “stuff” God has given to show love to God and others.

Remember this: Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luke 16:10a, NIV
