LESSON 21 | I can go to Jesus

Bible Basis: Matthew 8:23–27; 9:1–8, 18–26; Mark 2:1–12; 5:21–43; Luke 5:17–26; 8:40–56

Bible Verse: Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all of you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.”

Bible Point: Many people came to Jesus for help. I can go to Jesus too!

TABLE TALK: Use the Table Talk questions below to start a discussion around the Table at dinner.

Who helped the man who couldn’t walk get to Jesus? (His friends.)

Where did the disciples go for help when their boat was going to sink? (They woke up Jesus, and he calmed the storm.)

Why did the woman touch Jesus’ robe? (She was sick and had faith that Jesus could heal her.)

Who came to Jesus and asked him to heal his daughter? (Jairus.)

Week 3: Use it or Lose it!

Main Verse: MATTHEW 25:14–30

Life Application: Stewardship – Taking care of what you have because it all belongs to God

Todays Topic: Use your things wisely.

Ask: How can you best use your things?

Drive time: While in the car have your Child download
an app onto their tablet or phone called ‘Quality Time’. This app will record how much time is spent in each app on their device, as well as, how much time is spent overall on the phone. Tell them you will also download this app on your device. The next week, share with each other what surprised you and what you might do differently moving forward
