Take a look below to see what our Kids Ministry is teaching this week!

Jungle_Unit_5_art_157x157In the Lima Campus 34’s classroom: Jesus can do anything! -Jesus heals ten sick men.

Talk About It: I am thankful Jesus can do anything!

Bible Connection: “For nothing is impossible with God.’ Luke 1:37 NIV

Challenge for families:  Make thank you cards with you children  for people who have done significant things in their lives. Talk about how important it is to say ‘Thank you’ and have a thankful heart!

the_ark-unit5_157x157In the Lima Campus 5K’s classroom and the Henrietta Campus Preschool classroom: The Bible is true- Samuel hears God speak

Talk About It: Talk about how Samuel heard God’s voice and how important talking to God is.

Bible Connection: ‘For the word of the Lord is right and true.’– Psalm 33:4 NIV

Challenge for Families: Play a game to see if you can distinguish each person’s voice without seeing them. Blindfold one person in your family. Have each person say the same simple statement like, “Who am I? Ask the blindfolded person to guess who is who. Continue the game until everyone has had a turn. Read the story about God talking to Samuel from 1 Samuel 3 or from a Bible story book. Ask your child if God has ever spoken to them and if so, what He said.

In the Grade School classrooms: Holy Spirit: Game Day

Main point: In this lesson, students will review previous class elements and engage in games, activities and songs!

Memory verse: “If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” -Galatians 5:25 NLT
