Jungle_Unit_5_art_157x157In the Lima Campus 34’s classroom: Jesus can do anything! -Jesus heals a blind man.

Talk About It: Jesus can heal me also, because Jesus can do anything!

Bible Connection: “For nothing is imposible with God.’ Luke 1:37 NIV

Challenge for families:  Play with your child, wrap toilet paper around your eyes and let your child walk you around your home. Ask child to pray for your eyes to be opened and remove the paper. Celebrate how Jesus can do anything! Let the child have a turn and talk about the memory verse this week.

the_ark-unit5_157x157In the Lima Campus 5K’s classroom and the Henrietta Campus Preschool classroom: The Bible is true- Samson’s God given strength!

Talk About It: Talk about how Samson had amazing strength that is like a superhero. That strength didn’t come from himself, it came from the Holy Spirit!

Bible Connection: ‘For the word of the Lord is right and true.’– Psalm 33:4 NIV

Challenge for Families: Read together the Story of Samson in Judges 13-16 and talk about how they would like God to use them greatly like Sampson was! The lesson this week does not focus on Sampson’s moral failures but on how God used Sampson to rescue His people.

In the Grade School classrooms: Holy Spirit: Worship and Prayer Day

Main point: In this lesson, students will review previous class elements and engage with the Holy Spirit in prayer and worship!

Memory verse: “If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” -Galatians 5:25 NLT
