Rhinos Fundraiser: We encourage our kids at EGC to go to summer camp at Camp Judah each year. Your child has the chance to sell tickets to the Rochester Rhinos’ game on May 9th to raise money for camp! For every $10 ticket your child sells, they get $5 towards the cost of camp. Fundraising packets can be signed out on Sunday mornings in EGC’s Kids’ Wing. (The packets must be returned no later than Sunday, April 26th.)
Take a look below to see what our Kids Ministry is teaching this week!
In the 34’s classrooms: I Can Obey God – Noah the Boat Builder
Talk About It: We can obey God by listening to Him. God will give us the directions we need if we will listen.
Bible Connection: “Noah did everything the Lord commanded him to do.” Genesis 7:5
Challenge for families: Take time to pray with your child each day. Ask God to help each of you to hear His voice and to obey Him.
In the 5K’s classrooms: I Can Do What is Right – Moses in a Basket
Talk About It: Miriam did what was right and took care of her baby brother. We can do what’s right, too!
Bible Connection: “…Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable…” Philippians 4:8
Challenge for families: At bedtime, pray with your child and thank God for being so good to us that we can trust Him to take care of us.
In the Grade School classroom: Put Others First – God’s Love Isn’t Selfish
This week’s main point: God’s love isn’t selfish.
Memory Verse: ”Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
Challenge for kids: Ask God to give love for others and the courage to be selfless.
