Practice makes perfect, right? We think so! That is why we are reinforcing the concepts of faith, trust and worship again this week in Kids Ministry. Look below to see who is learning what.
In the 34’s classroom: Through the Roof – Mark 2
Talk About It: Jesus wants us to bring our friends to Him. We can trust that God’s power is enough for their lives, too!
Bible Connection: “For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
Challenge for families: Make a list of all your child’s friends. Have your child help you and pray for each one of them. Maybe your child could draw pictures for them as you pray.
In the 5K’s classroom: A Hand Writes on the Wall – Daniel 5
Talk About It: A hand appearing out of nowhere writing messages seems like make-believe, but when it’s in the Bible, you can trust that it is true.
Memory Verse: “For the word of the Lord is right and true…” Psalm 33:4
Challenge for families: Read the story from the Bible from Daniel 5 or from a Bible story book. Ask them what they would think if they saw something like that. Talk about how amazing the things that God does in the Bible seem.
In the Grade School classroom: Worship
This week’s main point: God is the One worthy of Praise. I’ll worship Him all my days.
Memory Verse: “The Lord is great and deserves our Greatest Praise! He is the only God worthy of our worship.” Psalm 96:4
Challenge for kids: Spend time this week thanking the Lord for some of the things He has done for you.
