Every year we plan a few different fundraisers to help offset the cost of Camp Judah. But the past few years we have had kids who have taken advantage of these fundraisers to the point of paying their entire way to camp. Last year we even had a student who paid their way to camp and half the cost of their cousin’s registration.
Starting this Sunday, April 7, EGC’s KidsMin will have a table in the Kids Lobby with ticket packets to our 3rd annual Pancake Breakfast. Your family can pick up one of these packets for each camp-aged child to sell tickets for the breakfast. (Jr. Camp ages 8-12, Sr. Camp ages 12-18)
For every ticket sold your child will receive $3.50 towards their cost of camp. Camp costs $169 but when you subtract the scholarship from the EGC Golf Tournament your child can go for about $150. (For a week of camp that is remarkable!) Meaning, if they sell just over 40 tickets, they can go to camp at no cost to you!
