New Series: Kids REACH

Kids ReachBefore I share with you about our first lesson in new series let me remind you of two things:

  1. We are not having Express Cadres tomorrow because of the Super Bowl.
  2. We will have bins ready tomorrow for you to bring in any bottles or cans you have for our bottle drive. Make sure you save what is left over after your Super Bowl party or ask your host if you can have them!

With the launch or new series tomorrow we are going to be looking at the lives of four men who went to extreme measures to bring their friend to the feet of Jesus. In Mark 2 we learn of the loving determination of a few friends who had a heart to see their paralytic friend healed by Jesus. When they got to the meeting they quickly realized there was no simple way to get him through the crowd, but that didn’t stop them. They got their friend up on the roof, and after making a hole, lowered him to the feet of Jesus.

Who do you have in your life that you would be willing to go to these measures to see them encounter Jesus? This month we are going to be asking ourselves this question and challenging your kids to memorize the great commission and start praying for the one or more friends they would like to invite to church.

We have 3 major goals for our KIDS REACH series:

  1.  For every child to memorize the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:18-20)
  2. For every child to invite 1 or more friends between now and Easter.
  3. To collect 20,000 bottles and cans to help support the REACH Project so that we can REACH more people in our communities with the love and message of Jesus.
