Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. 30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31)

All throughout scripture God challenges us to love our enemies, love our neighbors and love the nations. In this 3 part series we will be learning and discussing ways that we can prefer others by putting them first, or loving others B4 URSELF.

This past Sunday we looked at the story of King Saul pursuing David. When David had the perfect moment to capture Saul, he only took a piece of his robe to prove his loyalty to King Saul. (1 Sam 24) Each of us has and will have people who are trying to bring us down in one way or another, but God calls us to “…love our enemies and do good to those who hate us.” (Luke 6:27)

The Kidz Express challenge for the week is to go to the back of the line whenever possible, to remind us how to put others B4 URSELF.
